Stock Down: Eli Manning
Many people with short term memories, probably some who started him, forgot in this week one game Eli threw three picks. Any discussion about the Panthers D being better and improved this year was severely hurt after their 20 point demise by 2nd year QB Josh Freeman and his bad thumb. Nonetheless, against the Colts D Eli threw for 161 yards with one interception and two fumbles. Through two games Eli has as many turnovers as he does touchdowns.
This Sunday he plays against a tough Tennessee D that is tops in the NFL allowing only 85.5 ypg through the air. Thus, if you're league is big on yardage or receptions stay away from Nicks, Smith, or Manningham.
Stock up: Ahmad Bradshaw
However, a Giant that is definitely starter worthy this week is Ahmad Bradshaw. Seemingly taking over the lead back reigns in New York; Bradshaw is getting almost a 2/3 split of the carried compared to Brandon the helmet thrower Jacobs getting no less then 17 touches per game. He hasn't eclipsed the 100 yard mark yet, but with Jacobs antics and Eli's sloppy play expect to see his carries and yardage increase.
Tom Coughlin has watched his once stellar defense give up gobs of yardage and points. His game plan against the Titans must consist of heavy clock management; keeping his offense on the field while keeping Chris Johnson off of it. Expect to see Ahmad early and often as they try to keep CJ from running all over a bad Giants D and Kerry Collins try to re-earn his gig as Titans QB.
