Week Five Stop Up/ Down

Stock Down: Denver Bronco's backfield

Through four games the combination of Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and Lawrence Maroney have placed the Broncos in last place in offensive rushing. On 101 attempts the Broncos have ran for 220 yards averaging a measly 2.2 ypc. Even scarier for owners of those three running backs is the fact that they have amasses just as many touchdowns as turnovers; 3.

At face value all three guys sound like a reasonable rb2/ flex option, however, with the Broncos defense giving up 21 ppg you can be assured that the Broncos will have to pass their way into a win.

Stock Up: Kyle Orton

Heading up the top rated passing offense Orton is throwing for 340 ypg with an astounding 67.4% rate. With 10 touchdowns he is seriously outplaying his average draft position of 139, and other QB's taken much higher then him (Romo, Flacco, Ryan, Palmer, Eli Manning, Donovan McNabb, etc...). He is no longer a good sleeper or play during bye week. He is becoming a relevant every week starter.
